Immune Tune Elderberry Tea is a delicious loose-leaf, herbal tea blend that is a must have during cold & flu season. It is a warming tea with a base of elderflowers, elderberries, ginger and cinnamon that is perfectly cozy as the weather cools down.
Since this tea is made up of a few different dried roots, it will benefit from steeping as long as possible. It will be delicious at the 10 minute mark, but even better (and stronger) at close to 20 minutes. We love to start sipping this one after 10 minutes but just keep the tea bag or infuser in our cup the whole time we are enjoying it to get all the delicious benefits.
If you really want to get all the goodness out of these roots and berries, you can add the herbs and water to a pot and let them simmer on the stove for 10-20 min, then strain into your cup and add honey.
Small size = 9 - 10 cups | Regular Size = 16 - 20 cups
Ingredients: Elderberries, Tulsi, Echinacea Root, Ginger Root, Astragalus Root, Elderflowers, Cinnamon Chips, Peppermint, Nettle Leaf
How To Enjoy Our Loose-Leaf Teas:
Scoop 1 tablespoon of herbs into your favorite infuser, tea bag, or teapot and add about 8oz of boiling water.
Let steep for 5-10 minutes, preferably with a lid on top so that the healing essential oils from the herbs do not escape. The longer you let the herbs steep, the stronger and more potent their benefits will be.
To sweeten we love to add raw local honey, or organic agave and a squeeze of lemon or orange.
Drinking 2-4 cups a day will maximize the possible benefits.
